Where do broken hearts go?
When love has slowly transpired
Dreams that reigned within
Are now done with and expired

Anguish sadly fills this heart
Where love once happily dwelt
My eyes they cry a river of tears
For this pain is so heart felt

Your brazen ways unfolded
Peccancy sings a woeful song
Love can no longer partake
Since despondency came along

A nexus to such extreme pain
Are fragments of my heart
Since you walked out on me
My world has fallen apart

As I cry a river of tears
That’s how it shall remain
Until I’m strong enough
To start all over again

You know fine wee#ll Sue I did nothing,,your poem was great ,,and still is ,,I hope thing change for the better Sue,,for you deserve it.....

Broken hearts they never leave
But love can come and heal
Lift you up when you are down
Till you’re back on an even keel

When you think your life’s over
There’s nothing left for you
I’ll be there with big strong arms
To help my friend pull through

When you hear that woeful song
I’ll drowned it out with pop
Take you on the dance floor of life
Where together we will bop

For I will be your aspirin
I’ll take away your pain
When your heart does shatter
I’ll put it back again

So listen to me my sweetness
My love across an ocean has swam
So when you cry your river of tears
I’ll be there to be your dam

Hugs and kisses you me Eddy

Painfully sad, Susie Q. I hate that you are feeling these things
right now. May peace find your soul and love find your tender
heart soon. *hugs* Beautifully expressed sweetie, even though
it is very sad indeed.

I'm here. Always. : )

I guess were taken up and down, an emotional roller coster. You can't really prepare yourself for a heart break but one thing to know, is that you'll always have friends to lend a shoulder, an ear and hand in mending your pain and heart. Such a soft and heart felt poem, a lot of emotion and sadness, but amazingly written. I really hope things look up, you're such a kind and loving person sue, I'm sure happiness lies near in your future, a tender heart I'm sure awaits you, one that won't bring you to create another write like this. Hope things get brighter soon.

And to kenty, a very kind and sweet response. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a friend.

-Cassy

Oh my what a sad and heartwrenching write. I'm so sorry for you dear, but I can tell you from my own experience if he walked out on you, then you're better off without him!
It is so true, 'Tis Better to Love and lose than not to love at all" and do you know why? Because while you are loving another......you are also loving You........now you must shift gears and still love You...don't pick up where he walked out, and don't leave off where he stopped loving!!!
Beautifully written indeed. I felt all your emotions, and my empathy for you is real!
Warm love
momconsue

A beautifuly woven tapestry of pain and woe,
but not without the hope at the end. This was
just perfect and I do not have enough words
to praise this. Wonderful Sue thank you for
sharing this.

Eternal Dreamer,

A sad poem so beautifully expressed. I loved your very fine imagery. However, You should have used the line 'One day these tears shall dry' somewhere in it. It says so much.

Sue, this is a very, very well expressed piece...So full of raw, candid emotion, and it all flowed so well too. That last stanza especially cries out to me...and how very true, isn't it? It's like you have to take a deep breath, and dive into the love pool once again...Your time will come too...that I am sure of...Until then, you cry to your heart's content, and I'll be here for you: )
Very well done with this write.

Scorp.
(Sending Sue a big hug, because she knows she needs it)

Oh Sue, that is so sad. Very well written. How do things like this happen to people like you?

Just remember that you are a fighter and from that river you shall be cleansed to stand once again upon a mountain top where your sweet words will fly into someone's heart that will be true to you and deserving of your love.

Take care and thank you for sharing.

Amazing! The emotions are incredibly felt, both by the help of well crafted rhyme and incisive wording. Bravo!!

As I cry a river of tears
That's how it shall remain
Until I'm strong enough
To start all over again

Inspirational beyond mere words!
Take Care

Good...nice ending...word choice seems quite thought out and well
chosen. This poem definitely gets to me somewhere inside,
at least the part that feels.
Nice job.
