The coolness of a winters bite,
To whom the forest whispers loud,
My view of winters waltzing sight.

The glistening crystals glaze the cloud,
With clattered dancing sleet so proud,
And swhirling snows celestial tease,
With sounds of winters chime endowed.

The blowing winds,and frigid freeze,
My warmth is gone with winters squeeze,
The wooded path to home I see,
With biting frost the grip did seize.

Release the hold,and set me free,
Inside the warmth of home with she,
The winter yearns with calling me,
And wind of winter sighs with glee. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 167 [topic] => 27 [informant] => Wesley_Dale_Willis [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

A pleasure to read Wesley, with some vivid imagery. It's good to be reading your work once more.

Recently I wrote a poem about appreciating nature even in the cold. Now, in the bitter cold, I take it back.
