You took my heart and set it free
from disapointment and hurt.
You love me for me and want
me to never change who i am.
You look me in the eyes so that
i know you care.
You take my hand and never
want to let it go.
You have changed my life and
my view on men.
Your so kind and sweet to me when i'm
With you i dont ever want to leave.
Your kiss sends shivers up my spine
and butterflies in my belly.
I'm always wondering whats
gonna happen next.
Wondering to myself are we moving
to fast, are the feeling unreal or
are they true.
I sometimes ask myself what are
my hearts true desire's.
Is it you.
Is it right.
Should i feel this way.
Are my feelings true.
Then i know you are what my
Heart truly desires.
Your everything and much more.
These's feelings for you i feel are
saying things in my head.
Telling me i am doing what's right.
Telling me that deep down in my heart
you are who i love not "Him" anymore.
I tell myself you are right for me.
You will treat me nothing like he did,
those long nights i cryed myself to sleep.
Those long days i had to live without, him
i know i wont have to live without you for
to long.
Everything about you is different from
"Him", the way you talk to me and not
down to me, the way you love me
unconditionaly no matter what.
Baby all i want to say is that i love you,
and no one in this world will love you like
i do.
I cant wait tell you hear this from me
and no one else.

What a lovely dedication. I can relate...this is how I feel about my current boyfriend compared to a sex scumbag who raped me. I felt a sort of connection to this poem that made me feel like I wasn't alone, although I am not sure if you had similar experience.

Either way, it's great that you can make your poetry mean something to someone, not matter if it's what you get out of it or not. Thanks for sharing it.

i almost cried it was so sweet. everything EVERYTHING about this poem describes how i am, i perfectly relate, and i hope that your love enjoys the poem. we are lucky to have such great guys ^_^ great job i loved it.
