Array ( [sid] => 110313 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => He Still Lives On [time] => 2005-11-24 14:05:54 [hometext] => In memory of Ryan Dustin (Dusty) Legg, whose birthday is Oct.3 This being the anniversary of the year he transformed into the angel who guards us & out of his earthly place. We miss you Dusty and love you still the same. [bodytext] => He Still Lives On.....
by BARBARA C. FLOYD

As your birthday nears,
I wonder what you'd do!
Probably party with your buds
& have a beer or two. (heehee)

This year would end your teens,
for you'd be twenty on this day!
A man, full grown & determined
to live his life "His Way".

No longer a boy,
which you thought you'd surpassed already;
You had it all together, for you were
"Rock Steady".

But there is still more in store for you;
Even there.
For lives are being touched still by you,
everywhere.

Not a day goes by
that your family & friends don't think of you.
Not realizing you can hear them,
when ever they talk to you.

In presence,
your face can not be seen.
But your heart is in each of those you knew
& those you touched in between.

Oh, you are far from dead Dusty Legg!!!
You are very much alive.
In each friend, family member & those you touched,
teaching us to survive.

I see it every day.
Often in someone new.
For even in the heart
of your close & dear friend
Drew.

For he wrote me today,
of how much your missed
& of his love for you.
Like me, in his imagination,
you're still here to talk to.

So party on birthday boy!!!
Show em up there how it's done.
But know down here,
your remembered & loved
by each & everyone.

For you are proof to me,
by looking in the hearts
of those you knew,
that life is really eternal.
Our bodies are just renewed.

For you still touch us daily,
in ways I've not known before.
I personally can not wait to hug you,
as I enter heavens door.

So, Happy Birthday Dusty, from
your Aunt Barbara Jo.
You finally reached a place too high for me
to irritate you anymore. lol
