Not today back of our minds
“Probably inevitable”
The terror from so far overseas now on our shores
It has happened before in the 1980’s London got used to a "ring of steel"
Now again we must learn to "adjust and adapt"
“Disruption but not panic”
"Horrendous but controllable”
Life goes on
This is human nature to adjust and adapt
Thank God the streets were quiet
Now they are showing the weather life goes on
Lady with smoked face “it nothing other got worse”
Compassion, restraint
The dignity of the veteran “Neil Desperanda”
We have seen it all before
"The emergency services are in control"
"There is no panic only shock"
What a week
London united
All eyes on G8
Happy surprise from Singapore
Now this
"Shock but now surreal calm"
“We will not allow this to disrupt our values the terrorists will not succed”
I am with you on that Blair but I have not forgotten Iraq
Thank God the streets were quiet
You lose because you have not broken our spirits
Or is their just no spirit numbed by the 20th century
Left unshockable
We’ve seen it all before
Life goes on
If we panic if we are hysterical they win
Let the healing begin
I think we where lucky
Life goes on
Society always falls in to place
Heroes crowned villains named and shamed
“Londoners are a tough bunch”
Al qaeda have failed shaken but not stirred
A dark time to write poetry
“Londoners have lived through dark days before”
Life always goes on
“Londoners have put up with dark days before”
Is there a limit to how much you can put up?
“Londoners are a tough bunch”
I am going to make my lunch now
Eat chips
Life
Human nature
Eventually it will become a Tv program all the events neatly ordered and analysed
It’s the nature of London and humanity at large to adapt, adjust and move on
A blessing?
Forward not back

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
