Want to spew the contents of my soul
upon the sky
and cry for the acid raining down,
blinding the eye,
bleeding for a revelation,
some reason to see the sun rise.

Stop the virus spreading inside,
tributaries fed from the heart.
Kill the tumour at the source,
drag pain and love apart
and end this lie of life.

Purge the intrusive memories
of your callous strength,
my weak denial;
conflict reigns
until condemned in inner trial.

Unfocused reality, see the memory;
eyes perceive the unsaid:
every longing
every draining red;
when did we fade away?

Conduct the flames,
orchestrate everything in fantasy.
Hide away from every day
hoping for a future that isn't now,
while todays just decay.

well kara i think that this poem exemplifies your unique style. i think its changed since ive last read your poetry, and i think your style is what does and will set you apart from other writers. ::is reminded of the worlds pollution and is now once again disgusted with the global warming, pollution, and conservation mess the world is going through:: =] pesky little things to deal with im sure.

Wow I can't even begin to pick out everything
I loved about this just every line was perfect
and yeah I could be here all night raving on
about it so I'll quit while I'm ahead. Just know
Kara that this was superb.
