.Of blackened lifeless roses
.Left to pick up the blood stained shards
.Of promises you smashed apart

.A tribute to out love you said
.As you walked away with her
.Myself, a girl of life and lust
.A drink for an erotic feeling I was

.Left to hang in my demise
.Under a bridge made of cold stone
.No warmth to fill the open wound
.Cuts made and will be deeper soon

.Cars drown out my anguished cries
.As memories shift the painted walls
.The paint told truthful stories unseen,
.The imprint was made but what did it mean?

.Recoiled in remorse, I realize
.As my fingers begin to numb an iced dull grey
.And warm tears slowly begin to fade
.Because, these are my secrets that I have made.

beautiful imagery and such a sad scenario. love and relationships have a ton of hard lessons to be learned. the key is to not regret and take what you've learned in order to strive to be better in the future. best wishes and good luck.
