have never opened up
so i will never love
i don't forget anything
simply because
i can't let go
i haven't got a clue
i never meant for this
sorry for the pain i caused you
it's my entire fault
i can't be helped
sorry i have problems
i'm never perfect
i try too hard
i deal with your problems
i can only go so far
i can look over the edge
i have
it's no more than what i said
my heart is too cold
i left it alone far too long
my soul is sold
although it's always been gone

emotionless
staring in the mirror
changing myself every day
tell me what you see here
an abandoned body?
something without a soul?
a faceless monster?
i will never be whole

i dug my grave
let me lie;
i can never be saved
let me die

wow. this was really powerful!! but i really, really enjoyed reading it. especially the last to verses. those were good! and you shouldn't feel like this. no one is perfect. no one is strong enough to do everything and to do it all correct! you don't have to be perfect, just be yourself. people will understand. if you ever need to talk, i'm just a PM away!! great write though, i loved the power, keep up the good work!!

Society - as well, even people close to us, tend to expect us to be perfect. Sometimes it's not their intentions, but there's always pressure to be the perfect image - a perception of perfection. But no one is, people try, they fight and fight, growing closer to a goal they'll never reach. Be yourself, that's all that should be expected. Great write, very truthful.
