Structure not sound, hastily built on shaky ground
Preach something profound, where the soul below drowned
Scatter the remains of all that stays the same
Bloodied up stains point the finger of blame
Mirrored shards start to reflect a story of neglect
Mumbled sentiments spoken in foreign dialect
Cast into darkness when the sun plummets to the sea
Watery grave envelops, to silence its plea
Choking back tears, she takes one last hesitant breath
His ghostly image appears, pitching her to her death
Screaming helplessly, while she continues to fall
He was the only one who really knew her at all...

do you know the feeling, when the world seems to grind to silence around you...? because all you can hear is the piercing misery of your own anguish... well thats how i felt when i read this... because your right, 'he was the only one who realy knew me at all...'

aw, Scorperina! This was phenomenal! I know love can hurt you,
but look at the brilliant poetry that anguish can and DOES inspire!

Please allow me to say, I have learned by opening up, sharing the true me, has been the best gift I have been blessed with, and to think of how long its been that I have been partially closed down. Friends are coming out of the woodwork now, and that is because I have not been distant.. setting them off to the side. Blessed twice that they were always there waiting for me. They actually knew more about me than I thought, good friends do you know. A lot of this poem is written very educational write, it teaches well all about a person and how to keep a frienship, how to open up, to share, to let others know who you truly are, and then in that way there will be others who will honestly know you, the real you, which can provide trust in each other and all others in knowing you, the real you, instead of just one or two people. Very, very lovely poem here...
Sorry I have stayed away for so long, Scorp, I know I have a lot of your poems to catch up on..
