Defy fate ‘tis a lie
‘Tis a bird without wings
Wingless love yearns to fly

Love returned there shall be none
The lover loved by no one
My tears shall fall of sadness
Yet my love is not undone

Miserable love is love still
Eternity is in love's will
Though love shall be sorrow destined
It shall not die at sorrow’s chill

No less a love no greater than this
For such a love lives and needs no kiss
Needs no embrace, no words, no other
But alone ‘tis beautiful ‘tis bliss

Though loved not I, I shall love all the more
Without her I know love is to long for
Without her I learn what it is- this love
Had I never loved or learned to adore

‘Tis as though I never learned to speak or see
‘Tis as though I never learned to live- to be
But to love and to know love- is to know life
Broken, still I love when she doesn’t love

...sounds like your ability to Love is growing...it was a good, purposeful write that didn't swerve off the path into syrupy stuff...

...in a committed relationship, as time moves on, it isn't the "Loveability" of the other person that keeps things alive, it is your "ability to Love" that keeps the train on the track. Your ability to Love is going to make someone down the road a very secure person...

...it still hurts, though...

...Thanks for sharing from your heart and soul...

This kept a pretty good flow throughout, and you displayed your feelings for this girl well too.
Loving someone who is incapable of loving you back is a no-win situation...Don't settle.
You deserve to have someone love you back...Keep up the writes, and good luck.

(Who relates to the title all too well!!)
