SDIA

Topic: Event

The secret begins
At three of clock am
Lay Angela and Jimmy
In an Abandoned house
Strung out
On the floor from
A eighth of a ounce
Of heroin,
Donnie HIV positive injects himself with their needle
Angela catches him but decides she needs the high
If heroin can’t killer then she can’t die
Didn’t care about the consequences so she injects the chemical
Angela and Jimmy are a couple
They ain’t got ***** so the needle is their prenuptial
They have three kids that are property of the state
Whether its Jimmys kid no time to debate
Angela held two secrets
She wouldn’t dare to speak it.
Angela was raped
So Sdia become the mistake
The child Angela cared for the most she named SDIA
S-D-I-A
Sdia born Dec. 1, 1978
Born three months before her actual due date
Beyond being premature she had other symptoms
The doctors couldn’t call what was in her system
Sdia was plagued by Fevers, fatigue, Rashes and Night Sweats
Angela was roaming Fenning, Energized, Needle Soars, and Blue sweats
Angela and Jimmy rush to leave the hospital to get that fix
Since when can you have a baby and think that’s it
She saw Donnie on the street and it just reminded her
The pain of her premature daughter
Angela left Sdia with genes that weren’t clean
This is the life and the secrets of two phens
Fast forward to 95
After all the medical attention Sdia survives
She suffers from acute illness that the doctors can’t prescribe
She lives with her aunt but Angela’s secret is still alive
Although Angela is comatose and Jimmy overdosed
Sdia got the notion they no longer existed
From what her aunt Cora insisted
Angela couldn’t recover
So her secret later went to her grave
Doctors struggled not knowing what to diagnose her with
It became obvious when they sent her blood in for a test
A ill teen that lived with her parents decision
They lived a life of poverty so heroin was they’re health care
Only reason they ate was of the welfare
Her aunt got the test back but the results lied on the next page
Sdia flipped it and understood the meaning of her name when she was diagnosed with AIDS
