I'll just put it simply.
When someone you hold dear
Leaves.
It's been 21 hours.
The bag of chocolate chips
Is nearly empty.
I'm a wreck and
He hasn't even been gone
An entire day.
It's amazing.
How greatly two weeks
Can change your life.
Eight months, and ten days.
Eight. months.
Then I'll see him again.

I fell hard.
So did he.
It took separation to bring us
Closer.

Now what?
Life goes on like normal?
Do I want it to?
Should I have said yes,
Went back with him
And gone to school
In South Korea?
Would it have been
The smart move?
The right
Choice?

It hurts too bad to think.
It just...
Hurts.

Dressed in his clothes,
Holding his gifts,
Laying in the bed where we
Made love.
It impossible to sleep.
How could I even dream of
The thought? The happy memories
Of a joyious week
Make my heart ache
And my eyes weep.
DDR, anime, music,
All made to ruin my composure.
Things once loved are now
Avoided.
Good bye Lord of the Rings,
And eggs benedict
Hello misery.

I'm ruined. A wreck.
I'm on a stretcher headed to no where
But eight months
Of nothing
But
Tears. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 22 [informant] => saveMEfromMYSELF [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

A very sad and heartfelt write. Separation is so hard to deal with. You can still email each other and speak on the phone. It won't be long until you're together again. I wish you all the best.
*hugs*
