Love me with an honest heart and believe that I can try
I won't ask for more then that, I couldn't look at you and lie.
Hold me close when you close your eyes at night and
be real to who you are

Naw, I'm just kidding...sort of. A little jaded right now concerning 'love', but hopefully you get more pleasant results. All the best!
This poem was open and honest, and the ending sounds promising. Keep it up.

i agree with both of the other comments (except for the part about loving 4 legged creatures)
