I don't want to leave,
But I can not lie,
I am looking forward to what God has instore for me.

I will miss my friends,
So much more than friends,
They are my family,
Will I cry when I fly out?
Will we keep in touch like promised?

It is a bitter sweet thing saying Goodbye,
I don't want to leave,
But I can not lie,
I am looking forward to what God has instore for me.

Will He use me to do great things?
Will I grow closer and closer to him in all things?
What adventures lay instore for me?
What will I do?
What will I see?

It is a bitter sweet thing saying Goodbye,
I don't want to leave,
But I can not lie,
I am looking forward to what God has instore for me.

When will I return to the place I now consider my home?
Will I see my new found family in a year?
What will happen between now and then?
Or is it heaven's shores that we will next embrace?

It is a bitter sweet thing saying Goodbye,
I don't want to leave,
But I can not lie,
I am really looking forward to what God has instore for me. I liked this write. I hope this write entails you the hope of your thoughts to being real... I wish you well where ever you go, For God does have a way of showing our path. Hidden truths in those paths can reveal our true way to life, if one follows it. Good write, I wish you well in Gods name and His Blessings follow you always...

Sad, yet deep in heart, of knowing its time, for the new path of life.! Good luck........I am assuming, this is a good bye, because you will be going to fight, in Iraq? I might be wrong.! If im, not.........I will say prayers for you and hope you stay well.! I have many friends, already there, and hope they are well. Remember, you have friends, on ypdc as well.!
