holly berries, and christmas tree,
chestnuts cooking on a big log fire,
church bells ringing, and singing of the choir.

Family, presents a rich warm glow,
garlands, tinsel and praying for snow,
pantomines, cinderella, scrooge again,
without them christmas is not the same.

Tucking the kids up in bed,
saying Santas coming on his sledge,
going to bed Christmas eve tired, and yawning,
being woken at three the kids say, its morning,

Falling asleep after huge Christmas dinner,
wishing before Christmas we tried to get thinner,
all thease things mean Christmas to me,
without thease things,
what would Christmas be.

Try to remember on Christmas morn,
this was the day Jesus was born... [comments] => 4 [counter] => 854 [topic] => 35 [informant] => lillyjane [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SpecialOccassion )
