Sat a beautiful, delicate vase,
Plain and simple but still precious,
Ready to be torn completely apart,
Compare the vase to my fragile heart,
When I fell in love with you,
You did not steal my heart gently,
You wrenched it completely from my ribcage,
Somewhere along the way,you forget,
My heart is precious too, like the vase,
But you still chose to shatter it apart,
You did not do it all at once,
You cripple my heart with every word you said,
You smashed it with every word you would never say,
Slowly by slowly,
You utterly and completely destroyed my heart,
My heart had wept nothing but blood,
Crushed and beaten to a pulp,
When you dumped it back onto my palm,
How I would love to trade this battered heart,
For that vase standing there proudly,
Because the vase will never feel sorrow and pain,
Unlike my heart,
Which will never be the same again...... [comments] => 2 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 22 [informant] => Crimsonflame [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

You had many great lines, and a very interesting point of view.
Don't wonder if it's good enough for us, it must be good enough for you.
Take care, and heal.
David
