Can you measure a man
Without looking at his heart?
Is he still just as whole

I can't measure the man so I will measure the poem. The poem measures up, good write!Just one thing though, in line six do you mean 'phantom' or 'fathom the man'? Well done anyway.

nicely stated.... so peoples perception never makes it past the surface. i like this write it show how we all go through the same things eventually. Good luck great poem A++++

There's a song, in the musical Rent, that describes this feeling, in sadder overtones, but I think you capture it just as well...in more contemporary thoughts... keep your chin up...
