Array ( [sid] => 109202 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Believing… Baptism or Salvation, Both… [time] => 2005-11-06 19:06:02 [hometext] => [bodytext] => I am not sure how all our religions believe
For many have sub titles within the sects to perceive
We all look upon the sky to “Thank Thee” “Thank God”
As to some also do the same, however the thought is different in the Muslims sect of Jehaud
Many religions take a tone of their faith, yet the citadels of Bethlehem; place of the “Holy One”
Does dunking in water, prevail your place with Christ? Or really Your Personal Salvation a checksum?
You see, to me, baptism is an outward sign, a symbol to show others your salvation to a Religion…
My personal relationship with God is my baptism of my Spiritual belief and His word, my salvation is done.
Many see the holy water, baptism to the Body of Christ…
I understand it as meaning: We Are the “Body of Christ” if we accept; as personal salvation the price.
I do not need to prove to others my belief or faith, for that is a Human trait.
I only need to know I have God in my heart, my salvation of my soul to surrender my fate.
That inner peace of wisdom, the restful soul of when I leave this earth, my body only a shell
It’s to me I care about those who believe as “Christians” my brothers and sisters, do I tell.
For those also, who may not understand, only lift your head high…
Give your heart and pray to give all you have, accept "His" “Mighty Hand” in sigh…
For when you do, the wonderful feeling of knowing God’s love is always there.
Even thru the many waning times of sorrows, pains, heartbreak, seemly a long winding stair…
God is there. Those bad times; either make or break you to learn the lessons of the past
Take them and meld them to your soul, or your heart will feel as if your in a long, woeful fast.

Amber Rose Yeager – October 24, 2003

I wrote this in seeing as being baptized is just an outward symbol to those around us, that we are Christians, and or a belief in a Religion. I know John the Baptist ask Jesus to baptize him and that this is what we see as in being baptized as a necessity. I do not feel its a necessity in knowing ourselves where we stand in our own personal beliefs. I feel that once we accept the Lord as our savior, my personal salvation and relationship with the Lord, is that we are blessed and in following his word. IF I choose to be baptized that is OK, but not a necessity. IF you don't it doesn't mean you will not be with our Heavenly Father. The symbol is one that is out of respect for a Religion, since it is not just Christians who are Baptized. Just my thoughts, for I feel Spirituality and Religion are very two different Deities. One is being very spiritual in thought and mind, body and soul, and also believing in God, just one God. The other is a man made religion of rules with a title to it. I don't believe in Titles in Religion. Religion is a man made effort to confuse, with so many subtitles of so many religions to find what is right for you. I feel there is only one God, one to believe in and all religions look upon Him as that one. To bad we cannot just have one Religion or just say God to believe in, instead of all of these titles and rules of man in the different religions to believe in. Just my thoughts here. There are so many beliefs in this world of different cultures, yet still JUST GOD, and all unison believe this, so why not just that, instead of having so many rules of man...
