A warm soft feeling
Tears swell in my eyes
Hurt in my heart
As I start to cry

Tears of joy
That are unleashed
With tears of love
My hates defeat

A perfect love
For my perfect wife
Apart from her
I feel my strife

I hide my hurt
And hide my pain
But my love for her
Calls out her name

I wake from my dreams
In the middle of night
I reach for my love
But she’s know were in sight

I lay awake
And I see her face
I’m lost to my love
Alone in this place

Now I count the days
Till we’re together as one
And all I know
Is my love she has won

aww... hang in there, steve. just a little bit until she's in your arms again.
and yet again, my friend, a great write just based on your love. very well done. i enjoyed reading this and i wish you could be holding her right now. i hate knowing that you are in pain. but, writing helps and you do good at it so, hand in there, my friend and keep on writing!!!

Although I love all of your writes the ones I enjoy the most are those of your love for me! Even when it hurts to love me you still do and I thank you for loving me and sharing that with the world. I love the beauty of this write, I can feel your love in every line, but I also feel your pain, your want to be with me and your need to be back with me in order to feel safe and loved completely. I love you and your writes are amazing...I definantly see an incredible improvement in these last few writes over some of your first ones. Thank you for sharing this.
