They Asked If Everything Was Ok
They Said Not To Worry, Everyone Has A Bad Day
They Said To Hold On
But They Don't Even Know Whats Wrong
I Told Them, They Waited To Long
I Asked Them If I've Changed Since They've Known Me
But They Didn't Bother To Notice Or See
That I'm Not The Same Person That I Use To Be
They Said They Didn't Understand, They Thought My Life Was Great
But If I Had To Rate
My Life From 1 To 100 It Wouldn't Even Reach 8
They Said I Always Seemed Happy Never Sad
But Sometimes Mad
And It Seemed Like I Was Angry At My Dad
Could It Be
Thats They Might See
What Life Is Like For Me
No, They Said They Didn't Get It
So I Told Them To Sit
I Knew When I Explained To Them That They've Hur Me Too, They'd Throw A Fit
Everything They Would Deny
Once Again I Would Be Left Alone To Cry
And Wonder Why
Did They Wait
This Long To Ask, Now It's Too Late
It Was All Just A Part Of My Fate
I'm Over This
But I Don't Know How You Could Miss
All The Signs And The Slits In My Wrist
But I'm Better Now, I'm Ok
Through The Help Of Myself, No One Else, I'm Happy To Say
I'm Glad Things Turned Out This Way
I Now Look Forward To Seeing Another Day

This is really good. I know how this feels, only my slits weren't for dramatic little twists.... this is really really good. Thanks for sharing it.
