And then revives her with his EMT skills

She survives for the good moments
Even though they are intermittent
Taking the bad moments in strife
But the beatings take a toll

He may be able to get her heart pumping again
But each time he makes it stop
He puts another slash in her heart that he does not bother to mend
Through which goodness is swallowed and evil conquers
Assembling her heart to ooze venom

Because of her virtue the venom will never overcome
The goodness that flows throughout the rest of her existence
But it does drain her of her strength
Rob her of her youth

She can feel it
But she is powerless to do anything about it
Or so she thinks

Maybe if she let go
Maybe if she refused to play his games
Maybe if she didn’t offer him the best of her
He would leave
And give those punctures time to heal
Maybe then her goodness wouldn’t have to be in war with evil
Maybe then all the evil would surrender

You used strong analogies well. The poem, though wrought with sadness, has a hidden sense of attainable hope to it, which I find comforting in itself. A job well done.
