A dream is shattered, and all hope is lost.
How can one person destroy a life, simply by not wanting it.
How can a Mother kill a person, without ever knowing them?
A man jogs every morning,
Passing people he’s never known, and still smiles at them.
A father goes home knowing tonight, he’ll take the life of an innocent child.
And yet he tells this girl “I love you darling, you should know that."
You walk past a man, who has rapped, killed, and stole all of his life,
yet you have him make you his wife.
You go to school with a friend, who on the net sells bombs for a living,
and yet you feel safe confiding in them, on how you hate someone else.
You go home to a family who hates you in the dark,
but loves you when no one else helps them out.
Your mother hates you, and wishes you dead.
Your father paid your mom, to kill you before you could live.
Your sister molests you, because she wants to be an only child.
Your younger brother despises you only because you’ve succeeded.
And this is what one lonely person would call life.
She no longer confides in God because now, when she can get up on her two feet he has once more pegged her to her knees.
Her family she has learned to live with.
But learning to live with her illness.
She has not the heart to tell her best friend.
She has not the money to fix it.
But she woke up today, I suppose that's a good start!
To a new begining, and the end of what she thought she couldn’t stop. This was very sad and well written. I don't know if the last part is sarcastic or a tinge of hope, but in ne case I liked it. I find it hard to believe someone sells bombs on the net lol good analogy though. Hang in there...

Entering ones life only a half a mile ago, I have learned to that she needs to know Love. That which can be given freely, no strings being attached, just pure Love and the caring of a friend. I will be there as many miles into the future that she will have me be there.

Love,
The Voice

absolutely beautiful... keep writing that illness out... i am still alive today because of words... somewhere, somehow, it has become worth it... even if days are dark... there is a shred of light in all that we touch... blessings...
