Array ( [sid] => 108725 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Beauty of Life [time] => 2005-10-29 21:16:43 [hometext] => This poem shows the stages we go through in life as people and how we go through situations and develop ourselves living each day with the thoughts that tomorrow would be better. [bodytext] => Yesterday i was born
little and frail
putting a smile on my mother's lips
crying real hard
wanting to be cuddled
there I was
in my mother's arms
falling fast asleep

How time flies
now i can walk
I even talk
moving around learning the ways of the world
developing faster than my mother wld want
after all
I am still my mother's child

Today
I am a grown woman
Freespirited and taking all life has to throw at me
success, failure, success, love, heartache and loving again
life is full of mysteries
we live for today and pray we see tomorrow

The gift of life
though precious
only some live long enough to enjoy it
to learn to love
to thrieve to achieve
to fail and then succeed
to be sad and then be happy
is only but the beauty of life [comments] => 0 [counter] => 196 [topic] => 21 [informant] => miyake [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
