How can you defeat what cannot be seen?
Am I at my end now or must i go on?
Is this mirage my saviour? Or my downfall?
Continuous questions with no answers
i smudge the ink of your words as i slip through your water-fall hands
Still you continue to snatch at my torn face

...gosh...I hated that struggling stuff...like waves of acid...one after the other after the other...

...I started writing poetry...I really don't know when, but my first poem that still exists was written in 1966, at age thirteen or fourteen...this was my life's motto:

Yesterday's dreams
are sorrows today,
each lovely thought a gem
to me soiled and tarnished
by tomorrow's reality...

...I spent 99.9% of my life down in the basement digging holes...

...Concerta: maximum dose; Effexor: maximum dose; Remeron: mid-range dose; a whole lot of thinking and some help from a friend that knew just the right things to make everything click...at age fifty-four, I am just beginning to trust the good life that I am now experiencing...

...Love your "Self." Not just an affair, a tryst. Fall madly in Love with your "Self." Once you stop believing the lies your attachment experience caregivers told you...you'll find your "Self" gorgiously attractive...really...flawless...36-24-36...perfect...

...I prayed for the end so many times...

Hope I haven't offended you. You deserve Heaven...the full shot!

Thanks for sharing your poetry...

it becomes terrifying
