and respect and honor was his true fame
now we are happy to die all in shame
morals have left we have become quit tame

the is my legacy with no child to keep me alive
this is the only way my sanity will survive

i sit apon my beliefs and wonder about my world
waiting for my future to finally start to unfurl
not content to live a quit life wanting to shout my voice to be heard
i just dont want to be another sheep another face in the herd

i want my name to be reconized for the better things ive done

Some really good thoughtful ideas in this poem.
I think I like the beginning of the 2nd part the best, about what your own desires are.

It seems like you were sort of "stuck" with the word "tame", needing something to rhyme with fame maybe. You might do with something that has the same sound, but not completely the same rhyme like "insane" -- which would fit nicely with the loose morals phrase. :-)

(as an aside) I think of my children as being their own legacy. I'm more concerned with what I take with me as to not having to come back here (life) if it can be avoided.
