[title] => How I Yearn For You
[time] => 2003-01-21 09:00:00
[hometext] => Another re-post. Written in 2001 after making a long-distance call to my "online love" on his birthday. Although we are just friends now, this poem will always bring a smile to face!
[bodytext] => Oh, to hear your voice again
to me, it was like a dream It seems so long since we last spoke Your voice simply captivates me It removes all those miles between and helps me forget the distance But, it has it's darker side For it leaves me yearning for more I want to see your expressions whenever we are able to talk I long to walk alongside you and feel your arm around me To kiss your lips so tender and touch your hair so smooth This would be the ultimate dream but, alas, it cannot be So, as I lay in this bed of mine the only part I have of you Is the memory of your voice tonight and all those memories of our talks here online Oh, god, what I wouldn't do to have you here for just one night!
