~~~~~
When darkness fills the sky
Anticipation will be high
For going door to door
On a trick-or-treating tour
There will be monsters, witches, and cats
Pirates, zombies, and bats
Running through the streets
Each one looking for treats
By the light of the moon
Festivities will be ending way too soon
As we head back to the house
The kids are as quiet as a mouse
Eating from their sack
A delicious chocolate snack
What a night of such fun
A treat for everyone
It's probably my favourite holiday, because it's so devilishly fun, so I couldn't pass up this write! You did a good job here...This kept a good, rhyming flow, and delivered all the goods as does the title. Nicely done!
