scalp alive with
.....laughter?
shallow eyes turned down

to life, love and regret

the metallic goddes
pressed deep into flesh
scarlet overflow
gasp, hold my breath
this is for

life, love and regret

open mouthed awe
cold, quiver
inhale
bursting

with life, love and regret

clatter, grip
hold the skin together
hide the blade
the all knowing eye

of life, love and regret

quick.
arm under water
wrist bathed in
life, love and regret

numb.
hollow, let go
good-bye
ife, and love

the regret is
the burn never ceases
the pain forever increases
without love

Ohh I should be reading more of your work. You have the smooth flow with your words, it makes the person think of what your trying to convey.

This was brilliant, thanks for sharing it.

Jane~

Amazing! Another great piece.. it's oustanding how
you give a single word it's tremendous weight.

clatter, grip
hold the skin together
hide the blade
the all knowing eye

of life, love and regret

Graphic and suspenseful to the utmost.
keep up the excellent writing.. i'm a fan always.
