Long after I die
the only thing left of me
will be my tears.
they say the memory of a smile
last more than a lifetime
but for me
your final memory
will be
that final tear dropping from my cheek.
life is full of sadness and happiness
but for me
it's just full of tears running from my face unto my breast
as the nights are long
so are my salted tears.
the walls are white and bland,
reminding of the feelings I have for myself
light brown eyes turns greenish-blue with
anger,
sadness and
loneliness
which no one can truly fix my salted tears.
time after time people
people keep telling me
that they will be able to cure me of
these salted tears
and not one of them has cured me yet
but they were able
to contribute more pain and more tears
they made them more than just salted
they turned them into acid
so every time,
I cried it burned
and that is when I start to wonder
when is it their turn to feel the
pain I go though
everyday and night,
as I cry myself to sleep
as soon as there is no light [comments] => 2 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 32 [informant] => peachesJon [notes] => |||||||Incorrect spelling has been corrected, as requested. ♦Moderator_14♦||||||| [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
