It doesnt flow great in some parts but its an unedited straight from the heart poem [bodytext] => Grandma and Grandad,

It’s your anniversary
And I’m sure you would say
That your 50 years together
Was worth it everyday

So I’m here to tell you
How much you mean to me
The times I say I love you
Seem too few and far between

You’d always come to visit me
In Leduc and Swift Current too
Or we’d come and visit
In Saskatoon or Manitou

My friends are always welcome
Jenessa or little number 4
You always make them wanted
And they know they can come some more

You make me tons of cookies
Shortbread or chocolate chip
And whenever we are here
You buy the Philadelphia dip

You’d climb up on my bunk bed
And read me lots of books
Little Black Sambo and Bernstein Bears
No matter how long it took

I love all your stories
When we have a family “do”
About Matthew and his homemade store
Or me and my dancin’ shoes

I always steal your puzzles
And always steal your chair
I drink pop cans and eat gum
But there is always more there

Follow you into the garage
You’d give me something to do
Hammer nails into a board
Kept me busy and I had fun too

You’ve taught me so much
About life, love and family
Showed me how important they are
And how much they mean to me

I will never forget
All the time you’ve shared with me
I keep the good times close to my heart
And there they’ll forever be

So thank-you Grandma and Grandad
For everything you’ve done
“World’s best grandparents”
You guys are number one.

Love, Hailey
