We are both tired and are quiting the fight.
The fight for us and for trying to make it work, we have done everything we could.
We have been through this through the last 4 years, people say we shouldnt give up yet but in our hearts we know we should.
It is hard I will not lie.
It is for the best though cause life is passing us by.
It is not that we were unhappy together we just needed to both still young and need to move on and see whats out there.
There is a whole world full of people we have not met ,the timing is off for us thats all, its not that we dont care.
Just promise me you will always be my best friend and the one I can run to when I need a shoulder to cry on or a hand to help me up.

You still love me and you know I still love you but we have grown apart and the timing is not right.

i wish you and ex the best of luck. it's good to see what else the world has to offer you while you are still young. but like they always say - if you love someone, set them free and if they come back, you know it was meant to be. keep him in your life because you never know that the future will bring. by the way - nice poem. =)
