Should you see Zeroes on your posting spot,-
Stay without comment,- grieve not,- but rejoice!
It simply means you weigh an awful lot,
A heavy weight you are,- an “Avoirdupois!”

In zeros’ so mysterious fruitful womb,
So intact, virginal and promise- full,
Dwells sweetness, sweeter than the honeycomb,
And rich, felicitous is egg-shaped Null.

Replete with blessings is a Null or Zed,-
Look fondly on it on your posting space!
Bethink the excellence you’re looking at!.-
Beyond appraisal, be it blame or praise.

A thing of many-splendored mysteries.
Is Zero, Zilch, Null, Zed, - sweet and rotund,
Shrouded in silence of infinity,
Fame‘s harbinger- and oracle fecund.

Detached from comment frills - an Absolute,-
A lofty things is Null that makes no noise,
But keeps the scrolling readers stunned and mute,
Bewitched like Abelard and fair Heloise.

No hoist, no heavy jack nor strongest bull
can vie with Zero’s strength and equipoise,
Nor vanquish the pre-eminence of Null,-
Thus should it grace your posting spot - rejoice!

“Don’t tamper with a Null, for it bald”
Herodotus and Socrates had said,-
“Disciples if you have a Null - exult!
There is no need for combs for Null’s bald head!.

Wise Pytagoras too admonished men,
And his disciples in the lecture hall,
Spoke: “Values are derived from a brown hen,-
This is the law since man’s so saddening Fall!”.

Shield then the Zero-egg from chip or crack,-
(It may be broken into by a click)
And you be told and signaled “Crackerjack”-
You have been visited by faithful Mick!

Interesting and different, length spoilt it a bit. Felt a bit of bitterness in the write for want of readership at the "posting spot(© Elizabeth Dandy)".

Don't really know what to say 'bout this one.
It's really well written even if I'd have to get out my dictionary to understand it complety.
Course that's no ones fault but my own.
Great writing as always friend.
huggs,
emy

I read the rules about posting. For me, I post one, and I read 3 other writes, which I do not have a problem with, because I love to read. Long before I was a registered member, I read and voted on several authors writes, truly loved them, and I am so very happy and proud to say, the authors here are outstanding, and finally now, I can converse with as many as I can. I have visited several sites, and this one is the icing on the cake, with decorations. This is why I chose to come here. I learned many things from the outside looking in, the poetry, plus the comments, the readers who are members here, their voices speaking in every tone of love about others work. I always voted as a non-member, read my heart out, I will try to be a faithful reader now, as I have been in the past. I love your work here Elizabeth, and I am sure to keep on reading, for sure, you are a dynamic writer, I love the way your wrote this poem, to be understood. I hope my writes will be understood, for I am a new writer. I will be taking lessons from you as well as others here at YPDC. I see more than a big fat zero in this write, 5 stars for you my friend:>

This is the first poem of yours that I have had the opportunity to read. It's rare for me to enjoy humorous poems, and so hats off to you! More than humorous, I felt like you were writing about me, ha. I've been on this site since 2002, and have pretty much been overlooked with comments. But I do enjoy reading others' works, and I can't wait to read more of yours. Thanks for sharing.
