He gentles the raging stallion as no other…

Taking the bit into his own mouth,
he patiently runs beside…
strong,
yet tender,
fleeting and firm of foot,
yet compassionately silent.

Unfathomably,
he refuses to ride,
choosing instead
to run side by side,
into the wind.

Deliciously and delicately put. Like fine china on a sunny day. Very well done. Produces a joyous tinkling sound in my ears.

The reason for all of this is its tidiness. Very short, yet very to-the-point and very well communicated. It is indeed a skill to posess the ability to write so astoundingly in so little words.

I may even say I was surprised.

Remarkable picture painted with so few words. I especially like: Unfathomably, - He chooses to run alongside. Remarkable

He who is gentle teaches it ever so beautiful, walking side by side, He did choose to do that didn't He, and now He showed us how, we can walk with Him side by side facing the wind. This is a very healing poem, a masterpiece... RL

So I thought I'd start from the beginning ... * was this your first YPDC post ? *

I love the metaphore ... forgive me perhaps ... but I am suddenly reminded of The Man From Snowy River ( and it's sequel ) ... and am thinking a God of any religion, would have to have just that kind of patience and understanding and yes ... gentleness. A very insightful write Ron. It sets a fine stage for the walk though your words and says to me ... I will need to keep open both my eyes and mind to veiw through the subtle layers ahead.

Nazzy ~
