this melody sings
playing my heart in two,
one for me
and
one for you.
Music climbs to highest heights
crashing smash
like glass upon glass,
fear of pain
in the most delicate sense,
this voice is to me.
Flying
and
soaring
through a blue pure as air
intoxicating on
your hope filled wings
and
the vibrating air I see
when I hear you sing.
More than just stoned,
these tides of song washing over me,
more like Spirit moving
between you and I
and I can feel the moment when

Finger upon strings
this melody sings
playing my heart in two,
one for me
and
one for you.

fear of pain
