[time] => 2005-10-15 21:15:13 [hometext] => I would appreciate any comments on my poem....I wrote this about having lost your family and being left on your own in the world. [bodytext] => Aren't the Replacements Hard to Find

Aren't the replacements hard to find?
Lost with love can be a thought for someone,
Like a rock laying in a pond with no mind,
But life would not be so easy to anyone.

Like an enourmous tree I stand stumped,
ground stable, with my branches spread,
Like a grandfather,to make a wish I have longed,
some times an act of God can shake the earth,
leaving me split and dropped over the hedge.

Laying by the slope, rolling down the hill,
I used to wake up lazy, up and early in the morning,
lunch and dinner, frivolous talks,
a good afternoon, a good night,
and then another bitter sweet morning sun.
But now the time has come to me like other things,
not to forget, but to continue on
to another grand scene.

Walking in the desert, I see a mirage over the dune,
Don't we seek water, when we get botherd by thirst,
And seek the knowledge of a saint
like a lifelong quest,
But what if my life has come into
an all new setting,
how do I even begin to ask myself,
How hard it is to replace the ones you Love?
How hard is it to be a rock in a pond,
when you have nobody else but your own fate
to stand on, being lost, till you can be found.
