Its just a Random accidental thing,-
First-time appearance, and may soon be gone-
Or could it be perhaps a fountain spring,
A water shed for unknown things to come?

Though nature rules with her consistent order,-
This Random Thing may venture to derail,-
The maverick may gut the used to order,
Smash the accustomed bounds and move the pale.

Oh Randomness,- Oh word so lightly used!
New independent sign not yet explained,
Let it not be with pointlessness confused,
But in the prodigy’s realm contained.

Or are we linked to all that does exist?-
Linked to each other and all else that is,
Ask scientists and the cosmologist,-
In networks wrought and twined in mysteries.

An open universe can entertain
Man’s deepest aspirations of wide scope,-
While closed a universe makes hope in vain;
“To him belongs the word that can bring Hope!*

Behold Euclidean geometry!,
And the theorems of Pytagoras,
The wisdom of the ancient genii
Perhaps this Random Thing may soon surpass
.
With closed a Universe some are content,
Disclaiming awesome possibilities,-
An open one does overrule the spent
And old exhausted views' vacuities.

The more we learn, the more is yet to learn
Of strange phenomena unknown hitherto,
It's hard to read, to scan and to discern,
Things wrapped in stellar dust and cosmic dew.

We are connected very closely,
Linked to each other and all that exists
By bonds and links that reach infinity,-
Declare the stunned and awed cosmologists.

Lo! our postulates are vague and brittle,-
We are inclined to slight a Random Thing,
And don’t expect much and thus see so little..
Pray leave it to the Lord what it will bring!

Permit this little Random Thing to stand,
And let it spread its slender limbs and move,-
It has been placed there by an unseen hand
That moves with unimaginable love.

If I interrupt your masterpiece with intelligence and wisdom that it is intended, I can honestly say you have said it all ED
For we are all enterwined in this universe, and what affects you can affect everyone. What an awesome write with much thought, height, depth and untold wisdom.
Thanking you for sharing that most important point!
Warm love

I have seen things, and then I have seen things.. most would lock me up if I told too much. It is never definite, you know who rules.. I must say most of what I know I will wait until heaven to proclaim, which is already known. I have heard Jesus was insane, let me follow Him. Raquel Leah
