With it, comes the conundrum
To stay or leave-
To have it all or be happy with none

It has been raining for eight days straight now
But I have yet to feel one single drop
The clouds hang lower than the street now
But my head rises above-
And my walking towards you, can not be stopped

The flood parade has ruptured the gates now
But the surge stays stirring outside
A remnant of a torrential stream
As the water rises above the tolerable-
It would seem,
Irresponsible
Lines to let the survivors return
It has become unmentionable
Of what was lit to ignite the initial burn

It has been dark for eight days straight now
The sun has lost its way up
It remains in the shadows of the clouds now
Where it blisters itself, until it blows up

I must admit, this isn't sarcasm as I know it...unless it's directed at yourself. This seems more sad than anything, a story of loss, whether intentional or not. At least that's what I take from this. I must be desperate to read some poetry tonight, I'm visiting your account page...haha.

( Now that's sarcasm...^^...lol! )
