It was a terrible tragedy and I thought it would be a good subject for a poem. [bodytext] => They walked in the shadows of their dead,
Melting in their sadness,
Their never ending grief shown before them.

Four years passed,
Yet the suffering still plagued them,
It was still there,
As though it were mocking them.

But it was a tragedy,
Nothing could be done, by them nor anyone else.
The flames still burned as they did four years ago,
Burning forever,
Not showing mercy.

Flames showing war.
Flames causing more deaths than necessary,
The deaths feeding the flames,
Until nothing’s left,
But a burnt patch of soil. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 241 [topic] => 57 [informant] => tortured_soul [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => war )

I loved this poem. So many people are still hurting because of that tradgedy, and because of the war it started. I think this is a wonderful write. Hopefully this country will be able to mend its self, though it may take a while, we were all affected by this attack, and we all need time to heal. Keep up the writes!
