These aren't simply words but
Someone's unprotected soul,
Which is breaking through the mist
Of time and distance.

I read and

I see one's face and
Feel one's presence.
Perhaps, I even can become
A part of someone's mind and heart.

I read and

I weight up, I measure,
I apply the stranger's message
To myself, removing
My selfish shields
For I want to understand.

Yeah, good one. Last lines are particularly good.

Beautiful. Brilliant. I applaud you. A great read.. which completely captures the moment where the writer and the reader are one.
One of the better poems I've read on this site, definately.
Happy writing.
Yours,

I like this very much, for the depth of meaning. A sensitive and perceptive piece, written with skill. I identify, as well.
