like how great you are
things like how the sun and the stars are nothing compared to the brightness in your eyes
things like how you are the most beautiful person in the world
like how I dream of you each night
like how when I'm around you and all I want is to tear us from the world and everything
and for it to be just you and me, there, alone, with all the time there is.
And then it hits me.
Why write an old fashion poem,
what can it say, just words that have been uttered so many times before,
spoken time and again until the lose their meaning.
So I have decided to write something a bit different.
I hope you like it.
Music starts so soft, like your smooth and gentle touch,
you hear the notes play up and down in such a soothing way, always ending on the up.
Into the smoothness comes a beat, the beating of your heart, ticking away, the only sign that time is passing,
the beat fades with our racing hearts everything just disappears,
time no longer matters, but then again it slows down,
dropping slowly, getting softer, and once again your heart beats ...
time has started again,
I stare into your eyes and the music the music plays on and on still staying smooth, flowing effortlessly,
I don't want to let go, but then , again, it slows, one last time, slower, still slower,
until it stops.
We must part, and barely there one last long soft full note whispering
I'll be thinking of you until again we can quiet our minds and let the world flow over us [comments] => 3 [counter] => 186 [topic] => 2 [informant] => chather [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
