[bodytext] => in all my insignificant knowledge...there wasn't a way to fix these broken ties...and when strings break...where do the kites gather...float miserably, lightly...applauding the human condition....in the rat race for perfection....we've forgotten the children who graced us with immortality...learning the sour taste of lemons wash off your tounge with that first sip of water...and all my fingers pointing has made me a willing victim...for loss and sadness...i've picked each battle and chosen to fight them all....when burdens break my back and these hands hold me steady...there's no way to direct this endless cycle...when you keep playing tag with the past...life is for living and the past is for leaving....emotional saga in the mind of this misfit....to a mother who birthed so many cordless children...never connected in your womb...but time has given me nutrition...for the growth of strength that's needed...to sit back and watch as i realize...i'm a different part of her humanity [comments] => 2 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 43 [informant] => absolutspin [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

twisted...and i say that not negatively. I would call this peice twisted because of the style it is written in, not the message that it holds. To me this peice was overwhelming to my senses. I was trying to hold unto each line and continue on but found that hard so I re-read it. When I read this peice line for line not as a continual growth but an abrupt portrayal it was beautifully twisted. We went through emotion and knowledge and then found them intertwining which was a relief on the second read through. You were fresh and gripping but you had an abstract style that will make this peice continue to feel for me. good. twisted.

holding my tongue until it bleeds
holding my breath until i give up and breath
because gently is the way i hurt you~weepingprophet

A good write-
Do not let anyone judge your words as they are your emotions flowing and searching for release-
Why ask for anothers opinion of a part of yourself-
One note:
We areall connected to our mothers not only in the womb but also throughout our life...
