Everything has gotten easier
I no longer feel like I can't breath when I think about
The memory of you doesn't bring pain
I've moved on
You're just a distant memory
Something that used to be
I'm over you now
I will always have feelings for you of course
But now I'm okay with not being with you

This poem reminds me of a song;

"It used to be ever time
I'd hear a sad song I would die
It'd remind me of when
you and i were so much in love
I couldn't eat
I couldn't sleep
I'd just sit at home
and i'd weep
but now all that has changed
I've found someone to ease my pain
and it don't hurt now
no not now
baby it don't hurt now no not now"

i can relate to some of it, like i'm sure a lot
of people can..
it's definitely hard to get over
someone special...and this poem showed that

great poem. trying to pick up the pieces after a break up is really hard.
