Today, I fell in love.
With the girl in the mirror.
Smiling at me.
No longer ravaged by melancholy,
Smitten as a kitten, and just as warm with life.
I’ve transcended to greater heights,
To thy embrace...
In my imagination, I can always fly...
The clouds are blushing with pink residues of an eternal sunrise,
I remember my smile used to be as divine,
And tell myself that it is never too late to catch a new love dawning...
There’s a rainbow not too far away,
Past the Spring knolls and dew-laced roses,
‘Neath castles in the sky...
A myriad of lustrous hues paint my world,
I am no longer 5,000 shades of gray,
But a masterpiece of intricate splendor...
I’m dressed in gowns of mirth and joy,
My heart breathing as if for the first time,
Tears of blithe rolling down my cheeks like children on a hillside...
And I ask you, mirror,
Who is this youth? This innocent and radiant seraph?
“You are asking me things you already know.
You are endless beauty. You are unbridled happiness. You are dreams soon to be reality.
You are me.”

Today, I fell in love.

and most refreshing write from you. Of course, I enjoy
reading all of your stuff, (so brilliant and well crafted it is),
