Array ( [sid] => 10727 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Lover's Innuendo [time] => 2003-01-19 13:40:00 [hometext] => A rather sad poem with both lovers commiting suicide- I was witnessing a break up where the girl got angry at the guy and was inspired to write this poem. [bodytext] => You can't believe that its all true
And the way she thinks of you
Thats not the way that it should be
The feelings that you had between
Crying now, telling me his side
And all the feelings he had inside
How he had felt about his girl
And how she was his entire world
And now she said it was an end
With his lost words he meant to send
She hates him so, she doesn't speak
For she can no longer believe
He tries to talk, but she refused
Not understanding he felt confused
Pretending that he wasn't there
And as though she didn't even care
And as his heart begin to tear
Inside he cried it wasn't fair
And as she watched him cry and cry
He said he's hurt wanting to die
She'd never think of what he'd do
And how far he would go through
And so he gave her one last call
And told her how she had made him fall
She plead to him to never go
Say that she had never known
He took her pic, and shed a tear
Inside he's scared all full of fear
And then he tied to rope real tight
Whispered, "I Love You So Much," into the night
She never knew what he had felt inside
And how he tried to tell her his side
She never thought that when they'd part
That he would rip away his heart
And now he's gone, and now he's dead
Shee never listened to what he said
She's full of guilt, no where to run
She blamed herself for all that he'd done
With all her guilt, she left the world
So that she could be his only girl
And so they stopped to say and think
What could have ever brought them to brink
And within weeks, two lovers died
For they could no longer stand to cry [comments] => 4 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 32 [informant] => SpreadYourWings [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

OMG I love this poem as well! Maybe I am just a really sick twisted person, but I thought this poem was great with a lot of depth. Nice job!
