My hands throw out the bits of spark
That fly to several different destinations

Each one contains some hope and fear
That my bright future ever nears
My blind corners will be paths before I rise

Right now I dream of what's to be,
Tomorrow's the reality
When painted ponies turn to thoroughbreds

Providential fingers push me on
To work that has been left undone
It waits for me alone to fill its void

Though former paths have led me home
The paths to what is yet unknown
Will someday lead me, safe into your arms

when I read this I think of the smell of the earth and great pieces of wood burning deeply
on an open fire. of trees swaying in the wind at night, the rain decorating them, and along with them the sky.

the reason: your clear love of the earth;
your phrases: 'bits of spark' , 'fingers push me on' and 'paths have led me home' are rich for me..

thanks y
