Snarling their venom at any who say
Perhaps this is not the path that humanity should take
For a Christian nation there’s so much at stake

To pretend to love when all you do is hate
Makes a hypocrisy of the right-wing pontificate
To sing the praises of freedom of speech
When you mean for your view only is what you preach

People don’t be fooled by the hard right stance
A sickness of spirit that kills given the chance
Pretending to a high morality where they get their way
And controlling all thought if they don’t hold sway

Tiny minds full of hate who support mass control
The right wing bigots believe it’s their role
To manipulate and spin any facts that they want
And to spread racist hatred the freedom to taunt

What a sad sick soul is the right-wing fraud
Who with cold-hearted hypocrisy denies their God
Sneering at the poor and denying all grace
Instead of common good showing a hypocrite's face

Nasty and spiteful these are not Christian at all
With ugly emotions that make the skin crawl
We see them spit ugliness everywhere around
And most sinister of all on this American ground

Very strongly written and I couldn't agree with
you more. What makes this particular write
so strong is that everything is true and I think
even a blind man could discern that. Thanks
for sharing this Alan.
