Lame émousser,
mur ébrêcher,
flamme mourante,
mais toujours vivante.
L'amour pourrait-il s'égarer
dans le dédalles de la vie
et à tout jamais y errer?
ou comme Thésée,ruser
et s'en sortir grandit.

Froideur d'une nuit d'hivers,
noir tourment de la tempête,
où la neige tombe sur nos têtes
nous faissant regretter la chaleur d'hier.

You may want to translate this to English as well, so you get more reads/comments. Not everyone knows French, and it's a shame for a poem to be passed up because of a language barrier...Maybe post it in French, and then below post it translated in English.

| well i tried to use an online free translation thing......it is no good...lol..i mean i understand a little of it now and what it did translate properly is amazing....i wish those stupid online translaters worked better...or that i could remember enough french from highschool to understand it...it seems like an amazing write from what i can get from it.... |

In a cold winter night
In the torment of the storm
Where snowflake falls on our heads
Making us regret the heat of yesterday.
Long silences distressing,
Sad lost words
Where all the words are confused
Making us doubt, often
Of its attempts vainly
Undertook.
Blunted blade,
Notched wall,
The flame is dying,
But always alive.
Could the love be mislaid?
In the maze of the life
And wander forever there?
Sorry for my poor english but is the best that I can do It's not the same in english the poem lost a little bit of meaning....but It's That

Stop apologising, most poetry in english too make as much sense as chinese does to most non-chinese people.
Its nice that you posted translations too, that helps a bit, anyone interested would make use of google's translation tool or ask a friend to explain, that is so much better way to get aquainted with a foreign language. |

This poem is beautiful, thank you for translating it. If it lost some of it's meaning, I can't tell, because it is a lovely write! The imagery is really good, and you expressed yourself well. That first stanza really captures the readers attention, and I like the questions posed in the last stanza. Mixed emotions are evident, but the reader gets a sense of a deep love present. Very well done! Thank you again, for taking the time to translate: )
