Array ( [sid] => 107038 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Broken Mirror [time] => 2005-10-03 20:45:23 [hometext] => To me, poetry is pointless if you don't understand where the authours feelings are coming from, so I'll tell you a little bit about my poem. This is a poem about what people who are low confident, and self concious go through everyday. [bodytext] => Nothing wrong with me

Look through my point of view

I just want to be me, can't you see?

I want to show you something new

I looked into the mirror today

Who was that I saw in front of me?

What else is there to say

but that person I see

Is that really me?

I stare at my own reflection

Is that really me who I see?

Never meets to my completion

I stare in that mirror for hours

lost inside myself

Too bitter, too sour

I am, don't tell me to beliving myself

It's easier said then done

I'm lying here

As my story only just begun

I'm lying there

I'm dying here

Wiping away my tears

I'm lying there

trying to chase away my fears

Can you hear my cries?

Can you hear me?

Can you hear my lies?

Is it me who you see?

Look into the mirror, lost in it's spell

It's control over us, it stops here

It's spell, I will tell

There is nothing more to fear

Break the mirror, who cares?

It doesn't show the inside

of me, only bad memories it shares

don't just me by the outside

This is me

Don't care what you say

this is me who you see

who cares anyways?

The broken mirror

will take over you, only if you let it
