Keepin' you from movin' as you were meant to
The people who aren't on it are far too few
But they turn out to be the ones who

Produce the leashes in the factory
For people who buy them up almost religiously
Each one thought to be different, but they simply can't see
That they're still buying leashes instead of stepping out free

The leashes give them something that they can discuss
So they continue to wear them without any fuss
The free thinkers are banned for the leash is a must
But their message floats in on the wind; in the dust.

Does the God who created each insect to differ
See the people He made as so many pieces of liver?
To get out of the mainstream in humanity's river
Requires a new train of thought, one I'm here to deliver.

Cause I'm not talkin' of changin' your outward appearance
It's the mindset you cling to with rigid adherence
It's time someone came in and ran interference
Thoughts of how to make profit must be put out on clearance

It's time to embrace what's beyond the bottom line
Perhaps as we let go we'll soon come to find
Our imaginations provide us with more than we've left behind
There's an alternative way to our fixed daily grind

So make your reality what you want it to be
Your more than a flavor at the Starbuck's beanery
My friend you don't have to accept acceptancy
When your able to demonstrate a little creativity
