I was only fourteen
I got sent away to rehab
Where girls kill themselves because their sorrow is too unbearable

She stayed behind, hiding in
The bathroom with a razor and tears
While I get help, she was alone
Drowning in her hearts river

Trying to cope without her bestfriend
Sleeping with boys because she
Thought their touch meant
That they cared

I died three years ago, when
She left me
When I got sent away and she
Remained unbound by
Addicitions chains

When I was living with girls
Who were ex-prostitutes
Or got beat up by their mothers

I died three years ago, because
I wasn't able to write or call
She thought I didn't care
And she buried me in her heart

Two best friends died
Through the blood sworn friendship
Tears cried, hugs shared and secrets kept
We both died in each others hearts
And never got a proper burial.

I miss her
Does she miss me?

Maybe we were there to pass each others time.

Powerful and heart-wrenching, spare and delicate.

Why do the worst feelings seem to make the best subjects for our outpouring of grief, into these poetic windows on our pain.

So heartbreaking and sad....

It's one of the most gripping and painful poems
i've read in quite a long time. I'm glad you shared
it and hope all is well with you.

Keep up the extra fine writing

This poem is beautiful. It is so hard to lose someone that is your everything. Every waking hour spent thinking of the one person that you cannot touch. This poem holds alot of information, and tells a clear story. It is wonderful.
